Jialin is a Windsor-based designer and the founder of The Enchanted House, an atelier dedicated to reimagining historical dress for the present. Her work draws from Rococo, Baroque, and Victorian silhouettes, translating their structure, volume, and ornamentation into contemporary couture.
She is drawn to garments with presence. Pieces that shape the body, hold their form, and feel intentional in both construction and appearance. Corsetry, draping, and hand finishing play a central role in her work, giving each design a strong sense of structure and detail.
Her practice began with making garments for dolls, and through continuous exploration, evolved into full-scale couture design. Today, each piece is approached as its own world, balancing structure and softness, history and modernity.
